BEHDİNAN – HPG Press Center shared the following details in a written statement regarding the Turkish state’s invasion attacks and guerrilla resistance:
“The actions developed by our guerrilla forces under the leadership of YJA Star against the comprehensive invasion operation of the colonial Turkish army continue uninterruptedly. As the mobile guerrilla warfare style is put into practice effectively and with many tactics, heavy blows are dealt to the invaders. As a result of these strikes, a total of 27 invaders were punished, while 4 invaders were injured.
The details of the comprehensive actions carried out by our mobile guerrilla teams within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, holding the domination of the land, are as follows:
IN AVAŞIN REGION;
On April 20, between 09:30 and 10:00, the invaders who attempted to advance towards the Werxelê Resistance Area 5 times were intervened by our mobile guerrilla teams. After intense clashes, the invaders had to retreat one step.
On April 20, at 16:00, the invaders who wanted to take up positions around the Werxelê Resistance Area were shot down by our forces. In this action, 2 invaders were punished.
IN ZAP REGION;
The invaders, who wanted to take positions in the Girê Martyr Flood Resistance Area at 13:00 on April 18, were targeted from two sides by the coordinated guerrilla action of our forces. First action arm; After taking a group of invaders under control, he targeted them with heavy weapons. As a result of effective hits, 3 invaders were punished and 2 invaders were injured. The second action arm is; targeted the invaders with an assassination tactic and punished 1 invader.
On April 19, at 19:00, the invaders in the Girê Martyr Şahin Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons by our forces and the targets were hit with hits.
The invaders, who wanted to take positions in the Kurojahro Resistance Area at 08:45 on April 20, were targeted from both sides by the coordinated guerrilla action of our forces. First action arm; He punished 3 invaders by targeting them from close range. The second action arm is; He punished 3 invaders. As a result of this action, 6 invaders were punished.
On April 20, at 09:00, our mobile guerrilla teams carried out a raid-style action against the invaders in the Girê Martyr Şemdîn Resistance Area in Kurojahro. The invaders, who were taken under control and shot in coordination from three arms, were destroyed in a short time. First action arm; He punished the 2 invaders by going over the invaders with hand grenades and individual weapons. Second arm of action; It effectively hit the invaders by targeting and punished 5 invaders. The third arm of action is; targeted the invaders with the assassination tactic and punished 1 invader. A total of 8 invaders were punished in this coordinated action, in which our mobile guerrilla teams dealt a heavy blow to the invaders by applying many tactics together and creatively.
The invading Turkish army came with helicopters from the KDP-controlled Barzan area and from the KDP-controlled Amediye-Dêrelok route on the night of 20 April to retrieve its soldiers who were punished and injured in the Kurojahro Resistance Area. The Turkish army was able to take the dead and wounded in this area with helicopters only with the support of the KDP.
On April 20, at 14:20, the invaders who wanted to take positions in the Martyr Harun Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces. As a result of this action, at least 3 invaders were punished.
On April 20, between 07:00 and 09:20, the invaders who wanted to take positions in Kevirêkun in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were targeted and shot 3 times with heavy weapons by our forces. The targets determined as a result of the actions taken were hit with precision.
On April 20, at 09:40, the invaders in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were targeted and shot simultaneously by our YJA Star forces with heavy weapons and assassination tactics. In these actions, 2 invaders were punished and 2 invaders were injured.
On April 20, at 13:30, the invaders who wanted to take positions in Kevirêkun in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were shot by our forces with assassination tactics and individual weapons. As a result of this action, 2 invaders were punished.
On April 20, at 20:00, the occupiers on the move in the Girê Martyr Harun Resistance Area were hit with sabotage tactics by our forces. The number of occupiers punished here could not be clarified.
AIR AND LAND ATTACKS CONTINUE
On April 20, at 21:10, the village of Şiyê in Dinartê sub-district of Akrê district was bombed 3 times by warplanes.
On April 20, between 14:30 and 22:30, Girê FM, Gire Bihar and Girê Amediyê areas in the Zap region were bombed dozens of times with howitzers fired from police stations on the border line, and 14 times with warplanes.
On April 20, the invading Turkish army bombed the Girê Hakkari area of the Metîna region dozens of times with howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line, and 7 times with warplanes.
Between 20 April and 21 April, the Resistance Areas in the Zap and Avaşîn regions were bombed 37 times with warplanes and howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line.
