BEHDÎNAN – The Press and Information Office of the HPG shared the following information about the 2 guerrillas who were martyred in the recent occupier attacks of the Turkish state:
“The occupier Turkish army, which wanted to deploy its forces by helicopter in many areas in the Zap region, fell at the will of a group of our forces. The Turkish army, which had shot down several of its helicopters, was unable to deploy its forces to the required locations. Unable to achieve the desired result from the air, the Turkish army attempted to advance from the ground on 18 April and fell under the ear of the guerrilla resistance wall. The brave and courageous Apoyi militants, our comrades vanervan and Agit, did not let the resistance in the Workers’ Resistance Area breathe a sigh of relief before the occupier enemy, knocking on the door. Both of our comrades were martyred in this resistance.

ŞERVAN DÎCLE
Our comrade Şervan was born in Hakkari to a patriotic family who contributed a lot to the Kurdistan Freedom Fight. The family of our comrade Şervan joined the ranks of the struggle after believing that the dreams of a Free Kurdistan would come true with our PKK party. Initially, our comrade-in-arms, our comrade-in-arms, Dicle-Elif Demir, joined the guerrilla ranks in 1994, one of the most difficult years of our struggle, and was martyred in 2011 in Xakurk. Our comrade Şervan also took revenge on his sister and all the martyrs, as well as left the university in 2015 to fulfill the freedom hopes of our people and joined the guerrilla ranks, taking up his sister’s weapon. Our comrade Şervan became a skilled guerrilla shortly after joining the guerrilla ranks and quickly learned the life of the guerrilla and the mountain with his wholehearted and intelligent involvement. Our comrade Şervan, who joined the guerrilla ranks in the Zap region, also practiced guerrilla warfare in Zap, becoming one of the most experienced guerrillas in Zap. He was involved in many activities in Zap State, with his hardworking and selfless personality he was an exemplary militant to all his peers. Especially with the most effective war tactics of the Democratic Modernity Guerrilla believed in defeating the enemy and for this also made a great effort in preparing the ground for war. He also immersed himself in the guerrilla warfare tactics and philosophy of Leader Apo and sought to represent the characteristics of a leading militant in his personality. Our comrade Şervan demonstrated this scene in 2021 in the historic resistance and was involved in many actions against the invaders in the Zap region. Our fellow fighters gained a lot of important experience in these activities. The offensive against the invaders began on 17 April 2022 before anyone was ready in the front ranks. Believing that an initial blow to the invaders would have great consequences, to do so was to achieve what was achieved. Our comrade Şervan went to the invaders with a spirit of sacrifice and played a major role in punishing many invaders. Our comrade Şervan, who was known for his resilience on the line of sacrifice and for implementing the guerrilla team’s method of movement, was martyred in the battle on 18 April. AGÎT BATMAN
Heval Agit was born in Batman to a patriotic family. Thanks to the patriotic culture he inherited from his family, he got to know the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle closely. After taking part in many activities against the attacks of the occupying Turkish state in 2015, he joined the guerrilla ranks. After joining the guerrilla ranks, with the training of the Leader he made great changes in his personality and the effects of the capitalist system. thrown at himself. Comrade Agit has always tried to learn guerrilla warfare and has worked hard for it. To this end he has given importance to military training and gained considerable depth. Comrade Agit has been a guerrilla in many parts of South Kurdistan and as a comrade Şervan were martyred together, he was more guerrilla in Zap. So he knew Zap area and its geography well. On April 17, when the occupiers ‘attacks began, comrade Agit was also in the group of guerrillas who responded to the occupiers’ attacks. Comrade Agit and his comrades put up a historic resistance when the enemy wanted to send troops to the Hill of Young Martyrs. Tarza successfully carried out the guerrilla touring team and combined many guerrilla tactics and inflicted heavy blows on the enemy. The enemy has tried many times to send troops to this area but has not succeeded. Comrade Agit has successfully implemented the guerrilla tactics of the new era in every way and as a resistance fighter of the Apoyi line of sacrifice has taken place in our history of resistance and has become one of the heroes who created the legend in Zap.
