“Our comrades Serhed and Agît were martyred in the attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army on the Avaşîn area on March 26, 2021. These comrades, who set an example for all their comrades with their stance in Apoist militancy, inspired the resistance that developed in Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna, with their martyrdom, and became the line of resistance. We, too, commemorate these heroic comrades once again on the anniversary of their martyrdom, and promise that we will set an example for ourselves in the new year of struggle with their assertiveness and determination.

Comrade Serhed, who was born into a patriotic family in Amude, Rojava, had the opportunity to get to know the PKK struggle and Leadership ideology closely at a young age thanks to his brothers and close relatives who were in the guerrilla ranks. With the development of the Rojava revolution, our comrade Serhed, who took an active part in the resistance that developed against the efforts of the fascist Turkish state to eliminate the revolution by the gangs, joined the guerrilla ranks in 2013, seeing the fact that the ultimate freedom in all of Kurdistan is only possible through guerrilla struggle.
Our comrade Serhed, who is in a constant search with great enthusiasm and re-creates himself every day, has always known to leave a mark among his comrades with his hard work, hard work, morale and enthusiastic stance. Our comrade Serhed, who has always been based on self-education and deepening in the Leadership ideology with great curiosity and enthusiasm in his guerrilla life, was most influenced by the women’s freedom struggle and became a deep ideological and truth fighter. Our comrade Agît, who was born in Şirnex Hezex to a patriotic family that adheres to its values, was shaped in an environment known for Botan’s patriotic and rebellious stance. Our comrade Agît, who had to live in metropolises for a while, had the opportunity to see more closely the racist policies implemented by the fascist Turkish state against the Kurdish people. The devotion to freedom and social traditions always made the struggle essential for our comrade Agît. Our comrade Agît did not remain silent against all these struggles and genocide attacks and the invading Turkish state’s attack on the Rojava revolution by gangs, but joined the guerrilla ranks and gave the most meaningful response.
Our comrade Agit, known for his plain and hardworking personality, was able to represent Botan’s hardworking and integrating feature with the mountains in himself. Our comrade Agit, who created himself with hard work and an unwavering will, is based on applying what he understands with his effort and effort in all education processes. With the passion of being a professional guerrilla, he has always been in a great effort. He managed to become a competent, professional guerrilla with the branch training he received, and became a competent and promising commander by blending the professional guerrilla with the Apoist self-deprecating spirit. Our comrade Agit will always be an inspiration to us comrades with his unique struggle and performance and will always be remembered in our struggle as the professional guerrilla of the period.
