Members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement, Tevgera Cîwanên Şoreşger, are preparing for their national conference on 2 November, and held a meeting a day prior to the conference which will be held on World Rojava Day.
The co-president of the Tevgera Cîwanên Şoreşger Euphrates Canton, Hamûde Kobanê, explained that there is an aggravated isolation being imposed on the people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and that the only force who can stand against this torture being implemented on the entire people of Kurdistan, is the youth.
Hamûde explained: “As the council of the youth of the Euphrates region, we just held a meeting. We have made preparations for our conference during this meeting.”
The young people also shared that their moves and actions in the future will be held under the “Now is the time to ensure freedom” move which was initiated by the KCK on September 12, targetting the isolation of the people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan. The youth chanted, “there is no life without the leader.”
Hamûde Kobanê, continued to explain in an interview that their conference will be carried out around the issue of the Leadership’s physical freedom. Hamûde explained that during their Council meeting, preparations were made in relation to the conference and the elections which will be held. “We call on all the young people of the Euphrates region to come and join us during our conference, so they can be involved in the decisions which affect them.”
Hamûde highlighted that the Turkish state is becoming an immediate threat and that only the power of the youth can break such a deeply rooted fascism.
The young person concluded: “We have said that now is the time to ensure freedom, and that we will definitely achieve victory. And we will be victorious.”
