In a written statement, HPG shared that it defended the Qela Bêdewê area where the invading Turkish army wanted to set soldiers down. The forces shared that 10 of these invaders who had been deployed on an occupation operation were killed by the HPG guerrillas defending the area.
HPG shared the following information:
“The operation launched by the invading Turkish army against the Zap region on November 14 is still ongoing. On November 14, the invaders who wanted to settle in the Qela Bêdewê area were hit with sabotage tactics. The number of invaders who were identified to have been punished here is 2. However, more invaders were punished and injured.
On November 15, while the invaders attempted to travel from the village of Nêrwe towards the Letter T area, they were ambushed by our forces at 08:00. The ambushed invaders were effectively hit.
Again, on November 15, at 10:00, the invaders who wanted to advance in the same area were targeted and shot at close range. The number of invaders determined to be punished here is 3. In these conflicts, our comrades Partizan and Gabar were martyred after fighting heroically.
On November 16, at 09:45, a close-up action was held against the invaders positioned on Martyr Munzur Hill. This group of 7 invaders was targeted and effectively hit, 5 were punished, and 2 were injured. A tent on the same hill was also shot and destroyed. The number of invaders punished here could not be clarified.
The occupation operation that started on November 14 in the Zap region is still continuing. The clashes between our forces and the invaders continue. During the 3-day operation period, 2 of our comrades were martyred fighting heroically. The total number of invaders who were punished is 10, and the number of injured invaders is 2.
On November 13, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the Minînê and Banîkê villages in the Pîrbila area of the Heftanin region. This operation was withdrawn on 14 November without any results.
AIRSTRIKES
On November 14, between 14:00 and 15:00, the invading Turkish army bombed the Çemço area in the Zap region with planes.
We did not experience any losses in this attack.”
