Members of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and TekoJin Ruhr made a press release today, in the context of the campaign “It is time for freedom – Dema Azadiye ye” campaign which was initiated for the freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan and against the betrayal of the KDP and Barzani family. In their statement, the young people demanded that the KDP withdraws from Şengal immediately and recognize the Yazidis’ right to self-determination. They ended their statement with the words:
As long as leader Abdullah Öcalan is not free, As long as Kurdistan is not free, As long as the woman is not free, As long as the future of the children of Kurdistan is not beautiful: We will not let Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and TekoJin leave the streets and will continue our actions.
The action ended with the slogans: Down with treason (Bimre Ixanet) and Biji Serok Apo (Long live Öcalan).
