BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
Sometimes I am a derwish, walking and wandering, sometimes I am the heights of Cudi Mirada, sometimes I am a lament in the heart of a mother. I am Kurdistan.
The waves of my voice rise from the heart of Kela Memê, easily reach the cliffs of Kato, and falls free from the cliffs of Herekola Mira. Because I am Kurdistan.
My highlands, my rain, I am the place of life. I give milk, I give life, my burden is heavy. Because I am Kurdistan.
I am the one who heals unfinished love and the wounds of millennia. I have multicolored springs with multicolored flowers. I flow from the cliffs and the slopes, I fall on the holy lands and fall from Hezil, Tigris, Euphrates and Botan. Because I am Kurdistan.
I am a guide, I know the way, I am full of love, I have a beautiful voice. I do not leave my people hopeless, I become hope for my comrades. Because I am Kurdistan.
I am shield, guard, fear and nightmare of the enemy. I host heavy wars. I shoot, scatter, and collapse the colonists. I show the path of courage and success. Because I am Kurdistan.
From a distance and from deep within, I once again deliver Seydiko Seydevano melodies to my people and comrades. Because I am Kurdistan.
I am Canfeda, I plant the seeds of resistance and raise the flag of free Kurdistan for the freedom of my people and my country on the holy land. Because I am Canfeda of Kurdistan …
