BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
HPG Press Center detailed actions carried out in Heftanin and Colemerg against the invading Turkish state. The Peoples’ Protection Forces shared that 4 contras were punished, 1 outpost, 2 diggers and 1 truck was completely destroyed in the Şemzinan district between 4-5 November.
The statement made by HPG is as follows;
“Within the framework of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign, our forces carried out an action targeting the positions of the invaders located on the Martyr Rojin Hill in the Martyr Kendal area of the Heftanin region at 15:00 on November 5th.
The number of invaders who were punished and injured in this action could not be determined as 1 of the occupied positions was destroyed together with the invaders inside. 2 other positions were damaged.
After the action, the invading Turkish army randomly bombed the surroundings with heavy weapons.”
The forces also shared information regarding an action which was manipulated by the fascist Turkish state:
“Our forces carried out an action targeting the contras conducting military road works between Slort and Xapuşkê outposts in Hakkari’s Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district on November 4 at 14:50. While 4 contras were punished in this action; 2 diggers and 1 truck were completely destroyed, 1 truck was damaged. The invading Turkish army heavily bombed the surrounding areas after the action.
Through the special warfare media under the control of the colonialist Turkish state, false news is being served claiming that our forces have losses as a result of the bombardments being carried out. With these kinds of fake news, the aim is to mislead the public. They do not reflect the truth. Our unit, which organized the action, safely reached the base area.
The invading Turkish army carried out air strikes against Medya Defense Zones. The details of the attacks are as follows:
– On November 5, at 14:30, the vicinity of Çemşerîtkê Village in the Garê region was bombed.
– On November 5, at 15:30, the Karker area of the Zap region was bombed.
We did not experience any losses in these air strikes.”
