Komaleya Ciwanên Rojhilat Coordination member Tolhildan Zilan made evaluations to Nûçe Ciwan agency about the obstacles before the gains of the Kurdish people, and the betrayal of the Barzani family.
Tolhildan Zilan emphasized that the Kurds have been under constant attack since their early history, and that the enemies of the Kurds have always planned to destroy the Kurds and to commit a genocide against them. Tolhildan stated that the Kurdish people have always developed resistance and protected their culture and identity. The Coordination member highlighted that despite Kurdistan being divided to four between Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria, the Kurds continued to live their lives as a nation and worked for national unity. The Guerrilla pointed out that the gains being made today are a product of this effort and resistance.
This Betrayal, which Hinders Kurdish Freedom, Should Be Ended
Tolhildan Zilan made evaluations about the line of betrayal being developed by the Barzani family and mentioned the following; “Despite this much resistance and struggle, the line of betrayal still appears before us. The line of betrayal prevents our struggles and efforts from materializing as results. Since our history, it has been wrong politics which serve the enemy, which has shredded us. For this, every Kurdish individual should understand the politics of this enemy well. We must stop this line of betrayal that prevents Kurdish freedom from now on. ”
Kurdish People Have An Ideology and They Have Achievements
Stating that Kurdish youth should not fall into misconception that the Kurdish issue is not being resolved, Tolhildan Zilan said, “Today, the Kurdish people have a gain and an ideology. Our first duty is to stand in front of the line of betrayal so that these gains do not become lost. We have to stand against the line of betrayal in every way, we must refuse.
Historically, the Barzani family has always been in betrayal, nobody can deny this. Their betrayals since the revolution of Qazi Muhamed, are visible and proovable with documents. Barzani and their affiliated parties were always an obstacle to Qazi Muhamed’s work. Can anyone say this is a lie? There are hundreds of documents that prove this,” he said.
Thousands of People Murdered Because of Betrayal
Tolhildan Zilan, who stated that Barzani was in control of a force of more than 150 thousand Peshmerga in Bashure Kurdistan during the September revolution, continued his words as follows: “What was the reason that caused so many Peshmerga forces to lay down their weapons? Some Peshmerga committed suicide at that time, some surrendered, wasn’t this betraying the lives of millions of people?
Who can say that the events unfolding today in Heftanin and Xakurkê are any different from what happened against the PUK on 31 March?
Now they march before the invading Turkish state and allow them to settle it in the lands of Bashure Kurdistan. Again, the same family betrayed the Yazidis and caused thousands of massacres to occur. Weren’t these the same forces which built trenches between south and west of Kurdistan?”
At the end of his speech, Tolhildan Zilan called on the Kurdish people to develop an attitude against this betrayal.
