Former YPG fighter found dead in Sweden hotel room

A former YPG fighter, Blesa Omar, was found dead on Monday (November 16) in a mysterious incident in Sheraton Hotel in Stockholm in Sweden.

Blesa Omar, a former YPG fighter, was found murdered in a hotel room in Sweden.

“We are at the police station, and they have not told us anything about the incident,”Omar’s brother told NRT News Agency. The brother noted that the motive of the murder was unknown as police’s probe is still ongoing.

The victim was a resident of Ranya district in Sulaimani, aged 42. He lived in Sweden for 18 years. He was a businessman and worked as a political activist in Rojava. It was also recorded that Omer’s autopsy will be carried out at Karolinska Hospital.

It was learned that Bilêse Omer is the son of Omer Kwêxa Sabir, a member of the General Board of the Goran Movement.
