The Children of Fire Initiative shared a statement, claiming responsibility for several actions carried out in the Turkish cities of Samsun, Edirne and Izmir. The youth shared that they set fire to the home of a specialist sergeant who lives in Izmir. The statement is as follows:
“The occupying, fascist Turkish state and its soldiers pursued genocide in Kurdish cities and villages. For this reason, the home of a specialist sergeant in İzmir’s Çeşme district was burned and turned to ash. Everyone who stands against the Kurds and who fights against the Kurds should know that everything they own, their homes, their cars or any of their property will be targeted by the Children of Fire.”
Children of Fire Initiative shared the following information regarding the actions they carried out:
– On 24.11.2020, a Turkish textile factory warehouse was burned in Samsun’s Bafra district.
– The warehouse of the Turkish state institution was burned in Edirne on 24.11.2020.
– On 24.11.2020, the house of Expert Sergeant named Necmettin was turned into ash in İzmir’s Çeşme district.
