MANNHEIM, GERMANY
Activists gathered in front of Landau central station on Sunday under the slogan “End to Occupation, Isolation, Fascism: Bi Hev Re Serhildan.” Protesting the aggravated isolation being imposed on the peoples’ leader Abdullah Öcalan, the freedom activists marched after a minutes silence in memory of the martyrs of the revolution.
Kurdistanis and internationalist youth took part in the action to protest the aggravated isolation of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan. The activists chanted slogans such as “Germany financed, Turkey bombed,” “terrorist Erdogan” and “Freedom for Öcalan.”
Speaking at the rally which was later held in Rathausplatz, TCŞ and TEKO-JIN activists shared a joint statement:
“The absolute isolation imposed upon People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan is an isolation against all the people of Kurdistan and the peoples of the world. As Kurdish youth living in Europe, until our Leader is liberated, we will continue to be in the fields and continue to grow our actions wherever we are.”
