Born in Bedlîs in 1993, a young man named Serkan Tumay was battered by the guards of the fascist Turkish state about a month ago while serving a two-year sentence in Kırıkkale F Type High Security Closed Prison.
Serkan Tumay, who had fractures in his arm and head had previously applied to Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for transfer to another prison. Tumay, was killed shortly after by the guards of the prison. The autopsy photos highlight the extent of the abuse endured by Serkan.
Serkan’s family was only informed of his death two days ago. The young man will be buried today in Manisa.
