A conference was held by several political parties and non-governmental organisations, on the freedom of the peoples’ leader Abdullah Öcalan . The parties declared a joint plan of action to bring awareness to the imprisonment of the peoples’ leader.
The conference, held in Bologna in Italy, was attended by representatives from the Italian Reconstruction Communist Party, Petere Il Popolo Party, Fiom Workers Union, Cabas People’s Workers Union, CUB People’s Workers Union and the Un Peto Per Non-Governmental Organization.
During the conference, the representatives discussed about the ways to free the peoples’ leader Abdullah Öcalan , and an programme of actions was decided by the parties.
The party’s agreed that it was a pressing need to put the freeom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan on the agenda of the Italian public, and to develop actions accordingly.
Some other decisions taken during the conference includes for “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan” marches to be held in many cities of Italy on November 1, for the opening of photo exhibitions in different cities, and to organize a large march centred in Rome on 15 February 2021.
During the mentioned programme, the freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan will be demanded and his defence writings which have been translated to Italian will be promoted.
At the end of the conference, the participants raised photographs of Leader Abdullah Öcalan and chanted slogans of freedom.
