The Peoples’ Protection Forces (HPG) Press Office shared the information that two guerrillas were immortalised on different occasions on July 12, and September 19 in northern Kurdistan.
The Protection Forces shared that the guerrillas, warriors Hejar Ararat and Roni Ronahi, were martyred in clashes which broke out between guerrillas and the forces of the fascist Turkish state.
Sharing that warrior Roni Ronhai reached immortality in Iğdır on September 19, the HPG shared: “our comrade Roni heroically fought alone against the invading army and joined the caravan of martyrs.” In relation to the martyrdom of warrior Hejar Ararat, the HPG expressed: “Our comrade Hejar resisted until the end, refusing to surrender to the enemy and joined the caravan of martyrs by fighting heroically.”
