The Peoples’ Protection Forces (HPG) rejected accusations that it was responsible for the killing of the Asayish director, Gazi Salih Alihan Duhok, of the Serzêrê customs gate in southern Kurdistan. The statement shared by the armed forces of the PKK is as follows:
“The Asayish director for the Southern Kurdistan Serzêrê Customs Gate, Gazi Salih Alihan Duhok, was killed as a result of the attack he suffered in Gelite village of the Kanimasi district on October 8.
In the statement made by the General Security Directorate of the Southern Kurdistan Region and in the news published in some media outlets, accusations were made against our Movement holding it responsible for this dark attack.”
The HPG continued to explain, “Our forces have nothing to do with this attack. The statements and news made on this basis are not correct and do not reflect the truth. ”
