The Ciwanên Şoreşger movement released a statement after the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) claimed that members of the youth organization were abducting people. The youth organization emphasised that such allegations are baseless and asked SOHR to apologize immediately.
The statement made by Ciwanên Şoreşger is as follows;
“We celebrate the 1st of November, the world Kobanê day and the 2nd of November, world Rojava day, of all our patriotic people, our Leader Apo and revolutionary, socialist and internationalist forces.
The process we are going through is a process in which our peoples will achieve their freedom and absolute victory. It is an honour for us to celebrate and embrace the Rojava revolution jointly with the rest of the world, a revolution for which we gave thousands of martyrs and an huge effort and labour.
Undoubtedly, Ciwanên Şoreşger was the first to lead the Rojava revolution and present it to the peoples of the world. In this sense, Ciwanên Şoreşger has been the source of hope and continues to play its role as a pioneer of our people. Our people carried out the Rojava revolution with the reality of a revolutionary people’s war under the leadership of Ciwanên Şoreşger. Since this pioneering role of the youth is known, Ciwanen Şoreşger has been targeted by people and institutions under the direction of Turkish Intelligence.
Acting in coordination with the MIT, these individuals and institutions want to discredit and criminalize Ciwanên Şoreşger. For this reason, it carries out the special war practices which are carried out by the MIT in Bakur, in Rojava. We recognise these special warfare games from Bakurê Kurdistan.
We want all segments to know that the special warfare attacks against our youth movement in the recent periods are completely baseless, inaccurate and fabricated.
Unfounded statements about our movement such as “Ciwanên Şoreşger abduct young people by force” are allegations that are far from reality. Especially the information published by SOHR in the last few days serves the purposes of the Turkey’s department for Special Warfare.
It is certain that this statement of SOHR is also a biased statement which is far from responsibility. We invite SOHR to be more sensitive and sensitive on this matter. SOHR should immediately apologize to our Ciwanên Şoreşger movement for this unfounded claim.
It is our call to our people that they do not believe such attacks by the enemy and collaborating groups. The enemy is also acting with more care and sensitivity to special war attacks it carries out, it knows about the patriotic consciousness of our people and attempts to use this.
As the Ciwanên Şoreşger movement, we would like to state that we are at the service of our people. We express that we will act with the responsibility of pioneering in this period, as in the past, against any special warfare attacks against our people and any threat to our country.”
