CENTRAL NEWS

In a statement, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria highlighted the danger being posed by the Turkish state to regional and international countries.

“If Turkey is not stopped, there will be even more destruction and chaos. The international community must intervene immediately,” the statement published on Sunday said. The rest of the statement is as follows:

“The Turkish state, especially since the merging of the lines of Turanian nationalism and the political Islam of the Muslim Brotherhood at the beginning of the new century, has pursued a policy of threat, deepening of crises and destruction.

It violates the ethical and legal principles in Syria and pursues the same policy in Iraq. For the Mediterranean, Europe and Asia, especially for Libya and Greece, this policy represents a great danger. On the African continent, the Turkish state supports the Muslim Brotherhood. In Syria, it has played a negative and destructive role since the beginning of the crisis, and is committed to occupation, division and polarization of society. As a result, the popular movement in Syria has been transformed into an ethnic and sectarian conflict. The support of radical groups is preventing a national and political solution in Syria.

Moreover, in the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Turkey declared its support for Azerbaijan and demonstrated its intentions of occupation and expansion by transferring jihadist mercenaries. Under the motto ‘two states, one nation’, Erdogan made Turkey a direct party to the war.

The Turkish state has fired up crises that occurred at various times. It uses the enmity towards the Armenian people for its own interests and wants to divert attention from the crisis at home by turning its attention to the foreign countries. It deepens crises that could be solved through dialogue and manipulates public opinion to the effect that a solution can only be found through military means. In doing so, it endangers the security of the region and the world and triggers an armed conflict in the Caucasus.

As the Autonomous Administration we condemn the dangerous policy of the Turkish state and declare that a serious and practical position against it must be taken. The UN Security Council, the EU, NATO and the Arab League must act and stop Turkey’s destructive and criminal policy. If there is no reaction to Turkey’s actions, destruction and chaos will continue.

The Turkish state represents a project in the region that aims at destruction. This project is dangerous and threatens not only the region. Based on a fascist mindset, the Turkish state intervenes everywhere and insists on war. This makes it necessary for the international community to intervene immediately.”
