The 100 km march which was initiated by the youth of Rojava from the cities of Qamishlo to Derik has come to an end. The march which was initiated against the international conspiracy and the aggregated isolation being imposed on the peoples’ leader Abdullah Ocalan was completed with high energy and great strength.
The activists were greeted by thousands of people as they entered through the historic doors of the city of Derik, being saluted with anti-occupation slogans. The people united with the youth in the final steps of the march before lastly holding a rally in front of the Martyr Bawer Youth Center.
Speaking here, the Young Women’s Union (Tevgera Jinên Ciwan) spokesperson Canfeda Pîr emphasized that as young people, they will continue to support the KCK’s move against occupation, fascism and isolation.
Stating that they will not accept the isolation and international conspiracy against Peoples Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Canfeda Pîr emphasized that the action of the youth will continue uninterruptedly.
The action ended with a long dance performed by the young people to the songs of the revolution.
