Representatives from the SDF, YPG, YPJ, various non-governmental organizations and guests from different countries are present at the 2nd Revolutionary Youth Movement conference, which was organized under the slogan “It is time for freedom, Victory is ours.”
Banners were hung in the conference hall with the words “We will put an end to betrayal and occupation with the spirit and resistance of the youth”, “We will end the occupation of the Turkish state and its gangs, we will win”.
Making the opening speech of the conference, PYD Member Gerzan Mihemed said, “As a region, we are going through a sensitive process. The attacks of the Turkish state and its gangs continue. The youth should also increase the struggle and respond to the process in every field.”
As the conference is currently continuing with speeches by various representatives, Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s perspectives regarding youth are expected to be read. The conference will be concluded after the members of the movement elect their representative for the Regional Council of the Cizre region. The annual progress reports of the youth will also be shared.
