The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights documented that 28 jihadist mercenaries of the terrorist Turkish state were killed in the past 48 hours, in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict.
The Observatory shared that the terrorist Turkish state is suffering great losses in Azerbaijan, sharing that a further 62 of the former-ISIS mercenaries of the Turkish state were wounded.
Hundreds of gang members from Syria are preparing to go to Azerbaijan through Turkish security companies.
Reliable sources have informed SOHR that the Turkish government has thrown Syrian mercenaries into the ongoing battles in the contested Nagorno-Karabakh between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Similar topography to Syria
The SOHR emphasized that after having been told that their task was confined to the “guarding of oil fields and borders” in Azerbaijan, Turkish-backed Syrian factions have been noticeably shoved on to the Nagorno-Karabakh frontline.
It is worth-noting that the topography of Nagorno-Karabakh is similar to that of Jabal Al-Turkman and Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia in Syria.
SOHR also confirmed that Armenian-born Syrian fighters are engaged into the war on the side of Armenia against Azerbaijan, by Turkey. These mercenaries are expected to “work from the inside”.
