MEXICO
Thousands of women took to the streets in Mexico yesterday to legalize abortion. The activists suffered heavy violence from the terrorist police, but resisted heroically against the attacks.
After almost two hours of provocative blockades by the police, the feminist contingent was allowed to pass through to the Anti Monumenta located in front of the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
Members of Marabunta, as well as of the National Commission of Human Rights, provided the demonstrators with a rope to cordon off the contingent.
