BORDEAUX, FRANCE
Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger activists organized an action with the slogan “For the Freedom of Leader APO, Revolt Together”.
The action organized as part of the “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” move started with a short speech by the young people in front of the Grand Theatre on 2 September. In the speech made, it was stated that the invading Turkish state is trying to put into action the concept of genocide against the Kurdish people, through the war in Heftanin.
The young people drew attention to the isolation being imposed on Imrali Island, against the People’s Leader Öcalan, expressing that all forms of communication with the leader are cut at times when the Kurdish people are being attacked the most.
While it was put forward that the interstate conspiracy had become void by the resistance of Leader Öcalan, the guerrilla and the people, it was emphasized that as a youth, they no longer have patience and that the physical freedom conditions of Peoples Leader Abdullah Öcalan will be provided as soon as possible.
During the march that started from Chatrine Street, a large TCŞ flag, the silhouette of Leader Öcalan and a banner reading the slogan ‘Bi Hev Re Serhildan’ were carried. While Turkish fascism was exposed with slogans in French and Kurdish, slogans of “Freedom for Öcalan” were frequently chanted. The action, which also drew attention to the resistance of Cenga Heftanîn, ended with a short meeting in Victoire square.
