The KCDK-E Co-Presidency Council declared October 10 as the global ‘Freedom For Öcalan’ day. “All people who support freedom and equality” are expected to protests on October 10.
The KCDK-E ‘Co-Presidential Council stated:
“The International conspiracy is continuing, leaving behind 22 years of attacks and genocide in all parts of Kurdistan in Turkey. The severe isolation conditions being imposed on Leader Öcalan have been deepened and is being applied to the Kurdish people as a method of special warfare in four parts of Kurdistan. In the Middle East, Turkey and particularly Kurdistan; psychological operations are being implemented, occupation, torture, rape, lynching, massacres and genocide are being carried out.”
Emphasizing that bringing the AKP-MHP regime down is in the best interest of the Kurds, just as much as it is for the rest of the Middle East and North Africa, the KCDK-E highlighted that failing to do so “will lead to great disaster.”
“Now is the time to put peace, stability and freedom as an alternative to fascism,” the Kurdistan Democratic Societies Assembly stated.
Leader of solutions
The Assembly explained that Leader Öcalan is a great intellectual and peoples’ leader who developed solutions around the Kurdish cause within the framework of a common free life and women’s liberal philosophy. Emphasising that he is not only the leader of the Kurdish people but also the Leader of the Turkish, Arab, Assyrian, Circassian, Persian Armenian peoples, Alevi, Yazidi, Christian and Muslim people, the KCDK-E stated that “the isolation on Rêber Öcalan, who sheds light on the Middle East with his ideas and is the guarantee of the achievement of peace and common life with the proposal of democratic confederalism, is the isolation imposed against his ideas, thoughts and proposals for a common, free and equal life.
The aim of those who perpetrated the international conspiracy in the person of Rêber (Leader) Öcalan was to prevent a women’s libertarian common life and to maintain their sovereignty and interests by deepening contradictions and conflicts.
The peoples of the world, being aware of this purpose of the international conspiracy, embrace Reber Öcalan. With the resistance of Reber Öcalan, the Kurdish people and their friends, not only will these dirty policies be voided, but they will be eliminated as a whole.
We will continue our struggle until this isolation on Rêber Öcalan ends and the freedom of the leader of the peoples, Öcalan, is achieved. We know that the end of war and conflicts in Kurdistan and the region and ensuring the freedom of the peoples are intertwined and interdependent with the freedom of Reber Öcalan.
The freedom of Rêber Öcalan, the end of the massacre, occupation and fascist oppression on the peoples will be achieved by the common struggle and resistance of all peoples, especially the Kurdish people.
The only interlocutor
Since Rêber Öcalan is the only interlocutor who can play the role of ending the war and providing a solution, he is wanted to be silenced and so isolation is imposed. The solution of the Kurdish problem and the democratization of the Region passes through the freedom of Rêber Öcalan.”
The assembly concluded by declaring October 10 the global day of ‘Freedom Day for Öcalan’.
