Photos have been revealed of Nadira Kadirova’s room after she suspiciously lost her life in the house of an MP of the AKP.
Nadira Kadirova, a 23-year-old from Uzbekistan, had been working at the home of the AKP MP Şirin Ünal for one year when she allegedly committed suicide with Ünal’s weapon on September 23.
Further Evidence
In the crime scene investigation images taken by the Turkish police in Nadiras room, the decision taken by the court was in the direction that the room did not look suspicious.
In the photos which were revealed, it can be seen that a flowerpot had fallen to the ground, with the soil and flowers scattered around the room. A coffee table is completely turned over and a lampshade is on the floor. The contents of Nadira’s handbag has been scattered, while it was also noticed that there are traces of blood in 3-4 different places in the room.
Against procedure
Evaluating the images, the family lawyer Prof. Dr. İlyas Doğan said, “I think there was a struggle in the room. There is blood accumulation in three separate areas, and all three are in distant areas. While blood is seen in three different areas on the carpet, there is also the blood on the quilt on the bed. In addition, it is seen that the crime scene investigation team was accompanied by the AKP Deputy Şirin Ünal’s daughter Duygu Ünal. This is completely against the procedure,” he said.
Witness
Leyla Niyazova, a close friend of Kadirova who spoke with her a day before her death, said that MP Ünal had sexually harassed the young woman, pushing her to suicide.
“She called me at night on September 22. We talked for two hours. She cried a lot. She said, ‘Leyla, I am too tired, I am sick of everything’. When I asked what happened, she would say, ‘I can’t tell’ and then started to cry again,” Niyazova said.
“When I insistently asked what happened, she said, ‘Two weeks ago, I was lying in the room. My boss came in. He locked the door and lied behind me. He cuddled me.’
I asked if he had raped her. She said, ‘No, he didn’t touch me’ but then cried. ‘My dreams are broken. How can look my brother in the face now?’ she said. She made me promise not to tell anyone about this” the friend explained.”
Nadira told witness Niyazova: “I found my boss’ gun. I hid a bullet in my shoe.”
Niyazova commented “She didn’t even know hold a knife in her life, I thought she was joking. I didn’t even think she would do such a thing.”
The Ankara Security Directorate refused to take into account the witness statement of Niyazova despite the suspicious findings, stating that the witness statement of the friend could only be taken into account in a case filed against rape.
Kadirova’s funeral was held in Uzbekistan. Ünal’s chauffeur closely followed the proceedings of her autopsy which was unusually completed within one day.
