HİLDESHEİM, GERMANY
Kurds and their friends gathered in Hildesheim, Germany, and organized an action within the scope of the “End to Isolation, Fascism, Occupation: Time to Ensure Freedom” move initiated by the KCK on 12 September.
Kurdistanis from Hanover, Salzgitter and Kassel participated in the action, which was led by the youth movements Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer activists.
The action started with a minute’s silence at 16 o’clock on Cardinal Bertram Str. During the march the slogans “Bijî Serok Apo”, “Be Serok Jiyan Nabe”, “Eslebe Öcalan”, “Bijî Partiya Karkeren Kurdistan” and “Jin Jiyan Azadi” were frequently chanted.
A short rally was held here when the activists reached the Town Hall square. In the speech made on behalf of Democratic Kurdish Societies Assembly at the rally, it was emphasized that Peoples Leader Abdullah Öcalan is the only leader who can achieve peace in the Middle East, where wars have been going on for centuries, and that everyone should take responsibility in order to ensure the physical freedom of Leader Öcalan.
Referring to the PKK ban, the activists highlighted that the Turkish state is massacring the Kurdish people with German weapons.
The action which saw the support of passers by ended with slogans.
