INTEL: Peshmergas set to fight alongside FSA jihadists against PKK guerrillas

In a meeting held between top Turkish Intelligence (MIT) and KDP officials, it was agreed that the Kurdish Peshmerga forces will fight alongside the FSA and other jihadist groups in a buffer zone to be supervised by Ankara.

CENTRAL NEWS

While the attacks by the invading Turkish Army continue in Southern Kurdistan, our agency has been informed by inside sources that FSA jihadists are also set to participate in the attacks against PKK guerrillas, being jointly-coordinated by MIT and KDP.

The new anti-PKK mobilization was named a ‘common buffer zone,’ as established in a meeting held between the parties. Set to take their places beside the Peshmerga and jihadist mercenary forces, are also a small group of villagers being pushed to the front lines by the fascist Turkish state for money.

Pence Kartal

An invasion operation named ‘Pence-Kartal’ was initiated by the invading Turkish Army and the MIT to occupy the territory of Southern Kurdistan on June 17. During the military operation, it became clear that the Occupying Turkish Army and the MIT could not invade Southern Kurdistan without the support of the KDP due to their inadequacies in the mountainous terrains of Kurdistan.

The KDP, previously a guerrilla movement, is set to aid the Turkish army by dispatching forces to actively fight in the war – a step which the KDP had never fully taken before. The Kurdish Peshmerga forces will take their place beside mercenaries of the FSA, a regrouping of former ISIS members, and a group of villagers.

The invading Turkish Army, attempting to occupy its way to the borders of the Misak-i Milli, received heavy blows by the guerrilla in the most recent cross-border occupation operation which was carried out under the guise of Turkey’s ‘PKK-Threat’ narrative. As Turkey’s fascist dictator Erdogan has implied countless times before, the underlying reason for these operations is in fact Ankara’s neo-Ottoman adventures.

Peshmerga outposts to be built under MIT supervision

According to the information obtained from our sources, the invading Turkish state is establishing new centres and observation points under the leadership of Peshmerga Commander Sidad Barzani, after it was unable to enter the Medya Defense Zones – an area liberated by the PKK.

The meeting was held in a villa belonging to the minister of education in southern Kurdistan, located in the Kore village of Mesif on 23 August. Peshmerga Commanders Sided Barzani, Sirvan Barzani, Sirwan Huso and Mirxan Jajuki participated in the meeting along with three Turkish generals and the Dohuk MIT Representatives.

It was decided during this meeting that Peshmerga outposts will be buillt under the supervision of the MIT, in a 1km long area stretching from Şeladize to the Xabur waters in the foothils of Mount Metina.

Former-ISIS mercenaries will patrol the area

According to the information obtained, a new road-plan was drawn overseeing that a buffer-zone is created. The Peshmeras being deployed to these outposts in the buffer-zone will be assigned to position the jihadists arriving from Libya to the area. They will also settle the village guards and the Sunni Arab and Turkmen proxies gathered from Mosul in this region.

More outposts are planned to be built in the future in intervals, and they are expected to be taken over from the Peshmergas by the mercenaries from Syria, Turkish village guards and Sunni Arab and Turkmen proxies which have been re-grouped in Mosul.

Why?

The one kilometre area that stretches from the Xabur waterfall is a strategic position as it allows inspection over the Gare, Zebare, Metina and Haftanin areas. It is also of grave importance for Erdogan’s expansion plans as it is a cross point between the occupation borders of Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria.
