CELLE, GERMANY
The Long March action which is traditionally organized by Kurdish youth every year, has reached its second day. The action which is participated by thousands of Kurds and internationalist friends every year is organized on the basis of demanding freedom for the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and protesting the Inter-State Conspiracy, where the Leader was abducted and illegally flown to Turkey in a comprehensive plot orchestrated by many world states.
The young people who walked a total distance of 15 km yesterday, on day two, between Lehrte and Celle continue their action with great morale despite the bans being imposed by the fascist German police.
In order to support the march, the anti-fascist youth in the Leftist House hung a banner from their window with the silhouette of the PKK guerrilla Agir Stêrk, who was martyred in the Medya Defence Zones in 2018.
German police ban dance!
When the activists arrived in Celle, the fascist German police stopped the march for a while attempting to bore the young people, to sabotage the action. The young people realized these efforts of the fascist police and started to dance at which point the police forbade more than 5 people to dance. The young people continued to dance in 5’s, as the German police became noticeably frustrated in their failure to provoke the young people.
The fascist police later attempted to ban singing too, on no legal basis, and later imposed that the young people keep a distance of 1 metre between each other. The German police, realizing that they could not get any results, gave up while the young people continued to dance and sing at a distance of 1 meter between each.
At the end of the dances, the march continued from where it left off. Towards the end of the march, the police banned the songs which the youth were playing through speakers. Instead, the youth continued their march by singing themselves.
