TEKO-JIN (Young woman’struggle) activist Eylem Özgür called on Kurdish and internationalist youth to participate in the Long March in Germany, between 5-11 September for the freedom of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
While the countdown for the traditional Long March protest has begun, the Kurdish youth have shared that the action will start in Hanover-Lehrte on 5 September and end in Harburg-Hamburg on 11 September.
TEKO-JIN activist Eylem Özgür called young women to participate in the action which was organised under the slogan “For the Freedom of Leader Apo, Rebel together”,
Stating that they do not accept the absolute isolation being imposed on the peoples’ leader Öcalan for the past 21 years, Özgür stated that this isolation is actually being imposed on humanity.
Özgür invited all Kurdish and internationalist youth and young women to the action, to be organised within the scope of the “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” move, saying, “We take our place in the action with the spirit of Cenga Heftanîn. We will show our strength, our identities and our resistance and become an answer for the whole of Europe, and especially Kurdistan. Let’s unite and grow stronger, by marching together.”
