YPS-JIN, Martyr Yıldız Gabar Retaliation Teams announced that they carried out two separate actions in Izmir within the scope of the revenge move against colonialists and agents-collaborators.
The statement made by the Retaliation Team is as follows;
“On the night of September 6, our retaliation teams carried out an attack against a plastic flower-pot business located in the Sadıkpaşa of İzmir’s Bayındır district and burned 3 cars along with the shop next to it.
As a result of the action, the flames enveloped the whole building, resulting in 2 workplaces, 3 cars and the building being completely destroyed.
Our teams carried out an action against a countryside wedding hall and warehouse belonging to fascists in Izmir’s Bayraklı Altın road on September 1. As a result of the action, the countryside wedding hall and warehouse were burnt down completely, becoming destroyed.
The fascist regime formed by AKP-MHP gangs are responsible for the spiral of harassment, rape and racist violence inflicted on women. The Turkish state is hostile to women just as much as it is hostile to the Kurd. It tries to turn the society into an enemy of women and Kurds with the racism and hate speech which it legitimizes against women.
We know this mentality well from the Kenan Evrens. Wherever we are, we will be in resistance for our existence, our identity and our freedom. With the motto of xwebun xweparastin (be yourself, defend yourself), we will carry out our self-defence by acting against this fascist herd in all areas we are in.”
