BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
The Peoples’ Protection Forces, HPG, shared information about actions which were carried out the by guerrillas within the framework of the “End Isolation, Fascism, Occupation” move which was initiated by the KCK on 12 September. The HPG, in a statement they made recently, had announced their full participation in the move.
The information shared by the PKK’s official army, the HPG, is as follows:
HEFTANIN
“At 12.30 on September 15, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army positioned on Martyr Şîlan Hill in the Kartal area in the Heftanin region. The number of soldiers punished and wounded could not be determined in this action, where a post on the hill was destroyed together with the soldiers inside it.
The invading Turkish state, which randomly bombed the surrounding area after the action, targeted the vehicles of the civilian population who were attempting to leave the area. As a result of the attack, property damage was caused to civilian vehicles, while a fire broke out around the village of Keşan.
On September 17, at 18:00, a position belonging to the invading Turkish army in the Kato Sulê Hill in the Bektoria area in the Heftanin region was targeted by our comrades. While the position was destroyed in this action, 5 soldiers were punished and 3 soldiers were injured.
After the action, the invading Turkish army, with the support of Cobra helicopters, removed the punished and injured soldiers by Skorsky helicopters from the area.
The occupying Turkish army launched an invasion operation involving Kartal Hill, Martyr Zınar Hill slopes and Martyr Gever Strait in the Heftanin region. This operation continues.”

“Our forces targeted the invading Turkish army positioned on Martyr Bilal Hill in Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district at 05:00 on September 17. In this action, a position belonging to the invaders was destroyed together with the invaders inside. In addition, 2 surveillance cameras on the hill were also destroyed.
After the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with howitzers, mortars and warplanes, and launched an operation in the area. Our forces who observed the operation troops targeted the invading Turkish soldiers who wanted to place a surveillance camera on the land at 09.40 with sabotage tactics. As a result of the successful action, 3 invaders were punished. The invading Turkish army bombed the area with Cobra helicopters at 17.30 and removed the dead and injured soldiers from the area with Skorksy helicopters.”

“The invading Turkish army, which bombed the area of Kato Jirka in the Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak in the morning hours of September 11 with warplanes and attack helicopters, launched an operation after landing with Skorsky helicopters.
Our forces, following the enemy movement in the area, carried out an effective action targeting the operation coordination on the same day. In this action, where the operation coordinator was punished, a large number of soldiers, 5 of them high-ranking, were punished.

“On September 5, at 06:00, the invading Turkish army launched an invasion operation after landing with Skorsky helicopters in the Masiro area of Wan’s Shax (Çatak) district. During the operation, intense clashes broke out between our forces and the invaders. Our comrades Agit and Mazlum, who heroically resisted against the invaders during the clashes, were martyred by fighting until their last bullets. Detailed credentials of our comrades who were martyred will be shared with the public later.”

“The occupying Turkish army conducts counter activities by wearing the clothes of our forces in the villages of the Omeryan area of Mardin. The majority of these contra groups are women. The people of the region should be informed against these contra groups that carry out the dirty war tactics of the occupying Turkish state.”
AIR ATTACKS
According to the statement released by the HPG, the invading Turkish army carried out attacks against Medya Defense Zones. Details of the attacks are as follows:
“On the 17th, 18th and 19th of September, the Bektoria area in the Heftanin region was bombed with howitzers and mortars.
On September 18, between 09.40-10.20, the invading Turkish army bombed Kinyaniş village in Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district with Cobra helicopters and landed on Martyr Bilal Hill with Skorsky helicopters.”
