The YRK Command made a statement regarding the increasing attacks of the fascist Turkish state in recent months.
YRK said, “The fascist Turkish state has attacked the villages of Mawata district of Sharbajêr district with drones and warplanes in the past few days.”
Stating that the attacks took place on August 4 and August 7, YRK stated that a guerrilla unit on duty was targeted in the attack in Baluse near the Sharbajêr region on August 7 and a guerrilla and a patriotic youth from Southern Kurdistan were martyred.
Drawing attention to the fact that the Turkish state has targeted only the areas where YRK and PEJAK guerrillas are located, YRK said, “These attacks aim to prevent our work and struggle in Eastern Kurdistan.”
The YRK Command stated that the attacks aim to annihilate the gains of the Kurds in all 4 parts and said, “For this reason, our patriotic people of Kurdistan should take a stand against these attacks.
In addition, espionage in the region played a role in the massacre in the Baluse Mountain, both our people and the responsible forces should demonstrate their attitude and should not accept the spies who are selling our people.”
The YRK emphasized that “we, as the Eastern Kurdistan Defense Units, will not remain silent and unanswered against these attacks and the presence of spies.”
