YRK (Eastern Kurdistan Defence Units) Press Center shared the identities of 9 people, 7 of which were gurrillas, who were martyred in an airstrike on 7 August in Baluse, in the Sulaimaniya region of southern Kurdistan.
The YRK announced that a 7-person guerrilla group and two patriots were martyred in the attack. It was noted that 6 of the martyrs were female guerrillas.
“The attack on Mount Baluse is a sign that the enemy of the Kurdish people does not accept the Kurds, wherever they may be, as free Kurds and sees them as a threat,” the YRK said.
The YRK expressed its condolences to the families of the martyred guerrillas and patriots as well as to the Kurdish people and called on all the people of Kurdistan to take care of the families of martyrs.
