A member of the Turkish Intelligence Agency (MIT) was caught by the security forces affiliated to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and confessed to horrendous crimes.
İbrahim Beşar Diveka, who was caught in the Euphrates region, confessed how he became an agent of the MİT and the crimes he committed against the people in Afrin which is being occupied by the Turkish state.
Agent turned drug dealer
İbrahim Beşar Diveka (20), who lived alone in his home in the Raco district during the attacks by the Turkish state and its jihadist gangs on Afrin in January 2018, started selling drugs to the gangs with his neighbor Muhammed Adnan. The family of Diveka who quickly became a popular member of the gangs, lives in Shehba.
The Hemzat gangs, which are among the “Syrian National Army” gangs used by the Turkish state to invade Afrin, reached Diveka and force him0 to become an agent, he explained. Diveka, who agreed to work with them for a while, was given the task of staying with a gang leader named Abbas after a few months.
Diveka explained his spying activities as follows:
“During the Afrin war, Abbas and Turkish intelligence asked me to report the SDF’s military points, tunnels and the locations of the points in forest areas. Because I know the region well, I fulfilled his requests. All the places I reported were being bombed. Many fighters were killed in these bombings. ”
Military and Intelligence training in Turkish bases
MIT member Divek was taken to Turkey: “We were told that a MIT officials using the name Camp, will take us to a military base in Turkey and that we will get intelligence training.
I went through the border with 14 young Arabs and we were trained there for 25 days,” he said.
I raped 20 Kurdish women
Diveka, who had the duty of guarding and was given a hand grenade, gun and telephone for this purpose, continued this duty after the occupation of Afrin.
Explaining what they did after the invasion of Afrin, Diveka said, “They asked me to go to the villages with a group of gangs to kidnap children and women. Every day, we kidnapped nearly 50 women and children at gunpoint. When we brought the abducted women to the bases, the women were distributed among the gang leaders. These women were being raped. Sometimes I was raping some women too. I raped about 20 Kurdish women while I was with them.
We have killed a lot of young Kurds
Stating that they massacred many Kurdish youth per the instructions of the Turkish state, Diveka said, “We kidnapped and killed dozens of young people every day. We were throwing their bodies in Çemê Reş. I killed at least 20 people alone and threw their bodies there,” he said.
Captured
Diveka, who was trained for the second time by the Turkish state in 2019, was given the task to spread confusion in the east of the Euphrates. At the same time, he was asked to give the coordinates of SDF points and security institutions located east of the Euphrates to MIT.
Dîvêka was caught by the security forces in the Euphrates Region to the east of the Fırat River while conducting intelligence activities.
