CENTRAL NEWS

According to the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, the Syrian National Army-affiliated ‘3rd Corps’ issued a circular, ordering all military formations operating under its banner to evacuate all military headquarters inside residential neighbourhoods in Afrin city and move to other headquarters outside the city in no more than a week.

The circular, as confimed by the Syrian Observatory, reads: “to all military formations of the ‘3rd Corps’, you have to leave all headquarters affiliated to the 3rd Corps’ formations inside Afrin city to the headquarters outside the city in a week as of the date of the circular.”

This circular comes in the wake of ongoing demands by the residents and civil bodies in Afrin city to evacuate the military headquarters and put an end to arms presence in the city, as well as the ongoing violations against civilians.
