SÜLEYMANİYE, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
A petition campaign was launched in Suleymaniye by Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer to remove the occupying Turkish army from southern Kurdistan.
While the petition launched by members of the Young Women’s Struggle Organization for the invading Turkish state to leave southern Kurdistan continues, 25 thousand signatures have been collected so far.
The young people launching the campaign traveled from house to house, street to street, and village to village to collect the signatures. The campaign is being met with great interest by the public.
