RAQQA, SYRIA
Yesterday, the Syrian observatory reported that SDF raided a river crossing linking Theban town to areas where Iranian militias are stationed, west of the Euphrates River, where all ferries were confiscated by the Syrian Democratic Forces.
On July 24, the SDF installed observation outposts near river crossings between the two banks of the Euphrates River.
It is assumed that these posts were installed to prevent smuggling to the Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor from the regime-controlled town of Baqrus.
