SİLÊMANİYÊ, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
The Martyr Navdar Kerkûkî football tournament organised by Ciwanên Welatparêz (Patriotic Youth) has been concluded with a ceremony held in memory of the martyrs of Cenga Heftanin. 8 teams; Hewreman, Seyidsaqid, Silêmaniya nû, Tekiye, Sîrwan, Derbendîxan and Pêncwên participated in the tournament.
The final match of the tournament was played between the teams Silêmaniya nû and Hewreman. After days of practice for the tournament, team Hewreman became the champion in the tournament.
After the final game was played, awards were given to the players during a ceremony. Martyr Newzad Kerkûkî’s brother, who spoke at the ceremony, made a speech and presented his thanks to the preparatory committee.
