CENTRAL NEWS

Asrın Law Office made a written statement about the Imrali report released yesterday by CPT. In their statement, the Asrın Law Office explained, “the visit and report of the CPT is very important. This visit once again demonstrated that the Imrali Isolation System was governed by the torture regime, even through diplomatic language.

However, unfortunately, only visits and reports are not sufficient due to the current situation. Lawlessness and arbitrariness becomes more institutionalized day by day and applications are deepening. For this reason, we call on all international human rights institutions, especially the CPT, to implement more effective mechanisms and take responsibility for ending the Imrali Torture System ”.
