LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
The 36th anniversary of the Revolutionary Leap on August 15 was celebrated with a march by Kurdish youth living in London, the capital of England.
Young people gathered on the evening of August 15 and marched on Haringey High Street, one of the most crowded streets in London.
Blocking the road with posters of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the KCK and YPG flags, the young people celebrated the August 15 Revolutionary Leap with English and Kurdish slogans and protested the colonialist Turkish state’s occupation in Kurdistan.
The march ended with a short rally in front of Wodgren train station. TCŞ (Revolutionary Youth Movement) activist Munzur Dersim declared participation of the Bi Hev Re Serhildan move, speaking on behalf of the young people.
Dersim urged all Kurdish and internationalist youth to unite around the move and destroy fascism.
