Kurdish youth in Austria celebrate August 15 National Resurrection Day

VIENNA, AUSTRIA

TEKO-JIN  (Young Womenis Struggle) and TCŞ (Revolutıonary Youth Movement) activists organized a celebration on the occasion of August 15 natıonal resurrection day.

The celebration started at 13 o’clock with a minute’s silence in memory of all the martyrs of the Kurdistan revolution. After a minute of silence, the program continued with a speech on the meaning and importance of August 15th.

The speaker Agri stated that the revolution that started with the “First Bullet” shot on August 15 has continued until today and said “YPG-YPJ continues the first bullet fired by Heval Egîd in Rojava today”.

After the speech, the program continued with halay, quiz shows, open microphone and choir.

The celebration attended by approximately 150 people ended with the slogan “Bijî Serok APO”.
