IRAN
According to The Iran Project, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, in a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, hailed Tehran-Ankara relations in various arenas, especially in the economic and trade fields, and said that Iran is resolved to develop friendly relations with Turkey.
Noting that the US is currently imposing cruel sanctions against the Iranian nation, Rouhani implied that under such a situation “friendly and neighboring states should improve cooperation more than before.” This is a subliminal agreement of annihilation of the Kurdish society.
Recently, after the attacks of the fascist Turkish state, Iran also carried out attacks against the guerrillas. Iran had for years adhered to the peace deal it entered into with the guerrillas, until American sanctions were imposed.
According to People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office the Iranian army has been carrying out bombardments and ambushes against HPG guerrilla forces. HPG said that Iranian soldiers from Tisê military post in Şehidan area located at the border of Xakurke region in Medya Defense Zones carried out a bombardment in Dola Berxê on June 23.
HPG further reported that Iranian military forces have been laying ambushes against HPG guerrillas in the villages of Banê, Kortêgevet and Kelekanî in the town of Urmiye, located in East Kurdistan, since June 20.
In the statement, PJAK pointed out that the attack of 25 June was “part of a broad concept of annihilation campaign against the Apoist Movement with the ultimate goal of annihilating the Kurds”.
Two guerrillas were martyred last Thursday in the Turkish army’s aerial attack on a popular recreational area about 30 kilometres north of Sulaymaniyah city. Eight other people, including four children and two women, were injured, some of them seriously.
PJAK named the fallen guerrilla fighter as Rebwar Qulîzade from Bokan. PJAK expressed their sympathy to his family, his friends, the population of Bokan and the entire Kurdish people and vowed to continue the fight for the martyrs of a free Kurdistan.
