“Having taken her core from Serhad’s rebellious lands, and the history of resistance and heroism, Martyr Doğa was born in 1994 in Bulanik district of Muş. Growing up in a patriotic family, Comrade Doğa has kneaded herself with the anger of Geliye Zilan and Agiri and claimed the legacy of her people.
She migrated to the metropolis with her family in 2008 as a result of the dirty policies of the Turkish fascist state in Kurdistan. She did not study in the schools of the system, but grew up by preserving the essence of being a laborer dependent on her land.
Against the enemy’s policies of assimilating Kurdish youth in the metropolis and detaching them from reality, Comrade Doğa turned her face to the free mountains and shouted her anger. In 2015, during the Kobane resistance process, she responded to Leader Apo’s call for mobilization and demonstrated her commitment to the Leader and his martyred comrades from the very beginning.
From the first day she joined, her axis has always been to realize the dreams of the Leader and the martyred comrades. On this basis, by not accepting any obstacle, she developed herself in every aspect, broke the norms with her stance and participation, and became the epitome of selfless devotion.
Comrade Doğa, who burned the enemy with the fire of vengeance in her eyes and warmed the hearts of every comrade with this fire, predetermined her success in action with her life stance. She lived according to Leader APO’s words: “Zilan is our commander and we are her commanders.”
With her poetry, she locked her eyes on the victory like the Doğa and Zilan before her, as in her name, and put forward the stance of a guerrilla of democratic modernity, standing strong against all the technology of the enemy.
With her sharp and clear stance on the PKK’s principles of free women and free life, she became a devoted militant with a self-sacrificing spirit.”
The HPG shared that Martyr Doğa carried out a successful action with a bomb-laden aircraft against Martyr Berivan Hill in Heftanin on the night of July 12, and was martyred during the action. The HPG wished condolences to the patriotic people of Kurdistan and the family of Martyr Doğa Zilan.
