EVRY, FRANCE
Kurdish youth in France carried out an action to protest the aggravated isolation being imposed on People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The action, organized within the scope of the “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” move, started in front of Evry Democratic Kurdish Community Center on Friday, August 28th. Posters of the People’s Leader, PKK, KCK, and TCŞ flags were unfurled during the march, in which French banners reading “Freedom to Rêber APO” and “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” were carried.
The youth, who drew attention to the march with yellow, red and green smokes in the action, concluded by reading a statement.
In their statement, the youth expressed that the People’s Leader Öcalan is the red line and that they do not accept his situation as being held hostage. The youth, who called on all young people to take action with the spirit of “Bi Hev Re Serhildan” for Öcalan’s freedom, also ended their actions by calling for participation in the Long March, which will start in Hannover, Germany on September 5.
