The Children of Fire Initiative announced details of actions carried out against the colonial Turkish state. In their statement, the Initiative emphasised that the thousand-year period of colonisation is over and that today marks the fight for revenge.
The statement is as follows;
“We have been victims of Turkish barbarity for many periods of history. Now this period is over. There is a fight for revenge. For as long as we live this will continue.
Those who allow the fascist enemy to breathe comfortably are no different. No compromises must be made to the enemy in this battle. The pain of our revenge will fall on your homes, shops, businesses, mountains and cars.”
In relation to their actions, the Initiative stated that on 30 July, they set fire to a truck full of hay in the Ayvalık district of Balıkesir, and a passenger bus and neighborhood in İzmir.
On 31.07.2020, the Initiative burnt two large businesses and a coal depot belonging to fascists in Kozan, Adana.
