BEHDİNAN, SOUTHERN KURDISTAN
People’s Protection Forces (HPG) shared that they carried out an action against the terrorist Turkish soldiers positioned in the Tepê Hakan area of Çelê (Çukurca) within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary move.
HPG also shared that 2 guerrillas were martyred during the clashes in the Ovacık district of Dersim.
The statement made by HPG is as follows;
“As part of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the soldiers positioned in the Tepê Hakan area of Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district at 17:00 on August 5.
The number of soldiers who were punished and wounded in this action, where the positions and shelters on the hill were effectively hit, could not be determined.
On 2 July, intense clashes took place between our forces and the invaders in the Forbidden Zone of Dersim’s Ovacık district. In these conflicts, our comrades Sefkan and Alişer, who fought the enemy heroically and caused the enemy to lose, were martyred. The identity information of our comrades who were martyred will be shared with the public later.”
AIRSTRIKES
“On 6 August, the invading Turkish army fighter jets bombed the Geliyê Basya area from the Media Defense Areas in the Avashin region at 09:00 and the Werxelê area at 10.30.
We did not experience any losses in these bombardments.”
