HPG (People’s Protection Forces) Press Contact Center reported that an action was organized against a police station in the Çukurca district of Hakkari and that the air strikes against guerrilla-controlled areas continue.
In the statement, the HPG shared: “Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary move, our forces carried out an action against the Girê outpost in Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district at 07:30 on August 26.
The number of soldiers punished and injured could not be determined in this action, where the positions and shelters in the police station campus were effectively hit ”.
AIRSTRIKES
HPG-BİM stated that the invading Turkish state continues its attacks against the guerrilla-controlled areas:
“On August 25, between 14.00 and 17.15 hours, warplanes bombed the Karker area in the Zap region.
On August 27, at 12:00, warplanes bombed the perimeters of Kêste village in the Metina region.
On August 27, at 09:00, warplanes bombed the Amediye Hill area in the Amediye district of Duhok.
On August 18, our friend Sinan was martyred as a result of the air attack of the invading Turkish army against the Küçük Cilo area in the Zap region. The identity information of our friend who was martyred will be shared with the public later. “
