Peoples’ Protection Forces (HPG) announced on its official site that sabotage action was carried out by the guerrilla forces against an Amarog type vehicle belonging to the fascist Turkish army on the road between Bezelê outpost and Bezeno, in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari.
HPG shared that “the number of soldiers punished and injured in actions organized by our forces could not be determined.”
The full statement is as follows:
“As part of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out a sabotage action against a military vehicle belonging to the occupying Turkish army on a road between Bezelê outpost and the village of Bezeno in Hakkari’s Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district on August 1, at 08.20.
The number of soldiers punished and injured in this action, in which the enemy vehicle was hit, could not be determined.
Between the 25th and 30th of July, the invading Turkish army bombed Girê Çolya, Hesena and Navsera Cudi areas of Sirnak’s Cudi Mountain region with howitzers, mortars and attack helicopters.
On July 30, the occupying forces launched an operation in the Navsera Cudi area by setting down with Skorsky helicopters. The operation was withdrawn from the area without any results on 1 August. ”
In relation to airstrikes, the HPG shared: ”On 28 July, the invading Turkish army carried out an airstrike on the Kato Qewala area of Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak. We did not experience any loss in these bombardments. ”
