The People’s Protection Forces (HPG) shared that 5 soldiers were punished, 2 positions and 1 A4 heavy weapon position were destroyed in the actions carried out by the guerrillas in Heftanin. In Siirt, a sabotage action was carried out against a vehicle belonging to the invaders.
The HPG statement is as follows:
“As part of the Revolutionary Move of Cenga Heftanin, our forces carried out actions against the invading Turkish army on August 4. The details of the actions performed are as follows:
At 17.30, our forces carried out an assassination action against enemy soldiers on Martyr Adar Hill. One enemy soldier was punished in this action.
At 18.55, our forces carried out an action targeting the occupiers on Martyr Berxwedan Hill in the Xantur area. In this action, where enemy positions and shelters were put under fire from 2 arms, 2 positions and 1 A4 heavy weapon were destroyed, while 4 enemy soldiers were punished.
This action was carried out in memory of the civilians killed in Bamerne on July 26.
SABOTAGE IN SİİRT
On August 4, at 13.10, our forces carried out a sabotage action against a vehicle belonging to the invading Turkish army, moving from the Erbo station of Siirt to Hana Hevêl area.
The number of soldiers punished and injured in this action where the enemy vehicle was hit has not been determined. ”
