HPG / YJA Star guerrillas shared information regarding the actions they have carried in Heftanin, Hakkari, Dersim and Ağrı. The press centre of the People’s Protection Forces (HPG) shared that 7 Turkish soldiers were killed.
The information released by the HPG Press Center is as follows:
Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Move
“On August 10, at 07.50, our forces carried out an assassination action against the invading soldiers on the Qesrokê Hill in the Partizan area. In this action, 1 enemy soldier was punished.
On the same day, at 14.30, our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action against the soldiers positioned on the Katosulê Hill in the Bektoria area and 1 enemy soldier was punished.
During the intense clashes that took place in the Pirbula area on August 8, our connection with a friend was severed. Sorxwin Amed, our friend, joined the caravan of martyrs by fighting selflessly against the enemy forces until their last bullet in the conflicts in the Pirbula area.
On August 9, at 21:00, the invading Turkish army carried out air strikes against the Pirbula area. Our comrades Ferman and Mazlum were martyred in these attacks.
The identity information of our martyrs will be shared with the public later.”
Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Move
“Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Move, our YJA Star forces targeted this enemy unit with sabotage tactics in the morning hours of August 11 (today) after taking the covert unit of the enemy located around Zinê outpost in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district under surveillance. 3 enemy soldiers were punished in this action where the enemy unit was hit with a direct blow.”
Dersim
“On August 10, at 07.30, our forces carried out an action against the contras working at the police station in Çakmaklı village of Hozat district of Dersim. The number of enemies who were punished and injured could not be determined in this action, where the vehicle belonging to the contras was hit effectively.”
Ağrı
“Our forces took under surveillance a secret unit of the invading Turkish army positioned near the village of Mişkê in the district of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) in Ağrı. These enemy units, which were kept under control for a while, were targeted by our forces from 2 different branches at 15:00 on August 9.
In this enemy unit that was hit effectively, 2 soldiers were punished and 3 soldiers were wounded. The occupying forces removed the punished and injured soldiers by Skorsky helicopters towards the evening.”
Şirnak
“On August 2, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the Çırav area in the Gabar Mountain region of Şırnak and retreated from the area without any results on August 3.”
Avaşin
“Fighter jets belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the Mervanos area in the Avaşin region from the Medya Defense Zones at 19:00 on August 9 and at 10.50 on August 10. We did not experience any losses in these bombardments. “
